Due Date Calculator
Estimate your baby's due date and current pregnancy week using the first day of your last menstrual period. Free due date calculator.
A pregnancy due date calculator estimates your baby's expected arrival date using Naegele's rule — the standard method taught in obstetrics. Enter the number of days since the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP), and optionally your average cycle length if it differs from the standard 28 days. The calculator then estimates how many days remain until the due date (based on a 280-day pregnancy adjusted for cycle length), your current pregnancy week, and which trimester you are in. Only about 5% of babies are born on their exact due date; a full-term window of 37–42 weeks is normal. This tool is intended for informational use — your doctor or midwife will refine the estimate using ultrasound measurements, especially in the first trimester. All calculations are private and run entirely in your browser.

How the calculation works
This calculator uses Naegele's rule: due date = first day of LMP + 280 days (40 weeks), adjusted for cycle length. If the cycle is longer than 28 days (e.g. 32 days), the due date shifts forward by the extra days (32 − 28 = +4 days → 284 days total). Days until due = 280 + (cycle_length − 28) − lmp_days_ago. Current pregnancy week = lmp_days_ago / 7. Trimester: first (<84 days / 12 weeks), second (84–167 days / 12–24 weeks), third (≥168 days / 24+ weeks). For example, 70 days since LMP with a 28-day cycle: days until due = 280 + 0 − 70 = 210 days, week = 70/7 = 10 weeks, first trimester.
